Causalty at the Palace

There has been an ichthyo-mortality. Yes, one of the fish has died. No not the pleco, who I have named Scumbag. It was my favorite fish, the one I named Mohawk because he had a big stripe down his back. Last night he was swimming around bright and healthy, this morning, belly up. I gave him a proper burial in the porcelain fish bowl. Yep flushed him right down. I wonder if it was because I added a new fish last night? The one from my Mom's place, who is named Sunflower. This is all new to me, what can I say? (Is it wierd that I name my fish? I have Scumbag, Sunflower, Splotch,Clown, Biscuit and Fishflakes)

I don't think it is weird to name your fish. The only thing we had close to being "aquatic" in our house was a turtle my son found in the yard that he kept in a fish tank, and it turned out to be a smelly pet to have around. I don't recall if he ever named that turtle either.

Well, Lina's fish is named "Kingsley Shacklebolt" and Huck's fish is named "Jazz", so, if you are weird then so are we.

Sorry about your fishy.

I named my fish, when I had them. I had Lucky, Ennzio, Ice, and an algae eater named Snowball. I figured people name their white fluffy cats Snowball and that's kinda boring, but NO ONE names their algae eater Snowball, so I was original.
