Today I sat down and knit half of the Hermione Hat. Except I'm making mine with bobbles instead of yarn overs, and Burgundy Andean Silk yarn. I made the hat for my SIL for Christmas and thought the yarn overs probably made the hat colder than it needs to be, so I changed it to bobbles. I'm also using the left over yarn from my SIL's hat, so lets hope I will have enough. I also just finished knitting something for myself. It's a reversible cable scarf. I made it in a fuzzy purple wool blend though. I have a whole host of things I want to knit for myself, but they keep getting put on the back burner for baby blankets, Christmas presents and requests from people. I guess I just need to make knitting time for myself.
And why haven't I posted any pics of my creations??? Because I lost the SD card from my camera with tons of pics on it. I have most of them saved to disk, but not the brand new ones and besides it just pisses me off. Now I have to go buy another. Grrrrrr.

Every time I want to finally get started on that damn Bears Illusion scarf, someone else wants me to make a simple rib scarf. I swear, if I have to K1,P1 for hoursandhoursandhoursandhoursandhours again, I will stab myself in the eye with a needle.
I think we need to both take some "me" knitting time.
Could you knit me a trip to Costa Rica?
